also known as “America the Battlefield” bill… this is what my boyfriend and i were talking about… people were getting so worked up that the internet was going to “go away” when there’s other things we should be worrying about. don’t get me wrong, i love the internet but i love my freedom more. i wish people who are passionate about trying to change a bill (in this case SOPA) would be passionate about the others ones that will be potentially jeopardizing our rights. it irks me that people are just directing their efforts in the wrong direction. sure, weed is cool but i would rather have my freedom. people smoke weed anyways even if it is considered illegal and it’s not that big of a deal anymore. sure, we love our internet but that’s the point of having the internet if we can’t share our thoughts because that could potentially label us a “terrorist”? sometimes i wonder if people even know what’s going on.
